We have great newly refurbished facilities which are ideal for any event.

We have:

  • A function room that seats up to 90 people which is ideal for weddings, birthdays, and other private parties subject to availability. 
  • A spacious beer garden in beautiful quiet surroundings.
  • Extensive kitchen facilities.
  • Off-road private car parking.

We have  events throughout the year which include Band Concerts and we are used as a venue for the famous Diggle Blues Festival

We have a games room with a full-size snooker table and a bar stocked with a wide range of popular beers and spirits or even tea or coffee if you prefer.

The room is free to hire to members however if you aren’t  a member it’s very simple, make yourself a member for £15.00 and get the room for free.

If you have not paid by the 28th February 2022 you cease to be a member, and will have to reapply for membership which will affect your voting rights at the Annual General Meeting or any special meetings.

Club Update

To all our members and friends of Diggle Band Club.

Just to give you an update on what has been happening at your club while we have been closed.

It hasn’t been a great start to the year with the Government locking us down again. We have had to rethink our survival and business strategy for the coming year.

In normal circumstances at this time of year, the committee looks at what we achieved in the last 12 months and set out our plans for the coming year to ensure the club facilities are safe, and more importantly, a place that our members want to visit.

What we achieved in 2021

  • Repairing the Drive wall which collapsed in October last year.  Completed
  • New fencing to the front lawn,  Completed
  • Fitting new windows to the front of the club - these have needed replacing for some time.  Completed
  • Installing CCTV cameras to help with club security.Completed
  • Upgrade the bar equipment and facilities which will be carried out by the brewery.Completed
  • Reopening the high-level windows in the concert room. Completed
  • Reupholstering seating in the concert room and laying new carpet. Completed
  • We will subscribe to a music streaming service that will enable us to play music from a laptop behind the bar. Completed.
  • Improvements to the games room so we can increase the seating capacity. Competed.

Plans for 2022

  • From 1st April 2022, we will be introducing a two-tier charging system using a membership card loyalty system. Cards will be available along with our latest membership book from behind the bar.

  • An online diary and events calendar are to be integrated on the website.
  • Increase the times we are open. This will be a gradual return to pre covid levels.
  • We aim to work with other village organisations to host more events.

This year we are asking members to pay subscriptions before 28th Feb 2022. If you pay after this date you will have to reapply for membership which will affect your voting rights at the Annual General Meeting or special meetings.

We will be presenting the awards at 4.00 pm so come down and give your support and more importantly see if you won.
